Kitamura’s confirmation in the role of Yusuke Urameshi isn’t much of a surprise, as he had already appeared in behind-the-scenes photos of the recordings.

Yu Yu Hakusho was created by Yoshihiro Togashi, the same mangaka responsible for Hunter x Hunter. While Togashi is gearing up to return to the stories of Gon and his friends with new chapters of his manga, we don’t know if he also plans to return to Yusuke.
