YouTube brings reactions with emojis in the videos

Youtube is preparing a new update to provide more options for its consumers. And it is that the platform from Google to share videos wants to include a new way to indicate whether a user ‘loved’ a video, as well as whether a video caused laughter, promising a much easier way to interact with a creator’s content: the use of emojis in reactions.

It is very clear that the good behavior of the reactions in other market options, especially in the social media, motivate people to use them so that users feel more comfortable and with less effort when they show something. And, therefore, it is quite logical that YouTube does not want to lose track of its competition, and in this way they are testing its use.

How emoji reactions will be implemented on YouTube

Well, contrary to what you might think, these reactions will not stay in the comments section, which has long been the most popular way of criticizing (for better or worse) videos.

The company, owned by Google, has decided that they will be in the same recordings through a dropdown menu. As a result, users will be able to decide to use them at a specific point in the content being viewed and, more importantly, everything will be recorded anonymously (At least for the moment).

And what types of emojis are there? Well, they are the most common to use. Some examples are hearts; surprise; sadness; and, even, you can leave a question mark. The type and number of use of these reactions will change according to the employability they give users.

A novelty for viewers and content creators

This, obviously, in addition to benefiting the users themselves, who have more response options, also has positive results for themselves content creators.

The reason is that they can know exactly what users like more or less, without having to read all the reviews to find out.

Now, YouTube has announced that the ability to use emojis in reactions will be rolled out to certain channels for impact, and whether users will see it as something positive or not. But knowing the great use that is currently given to this function on other platforms; be Telegram, Instagram, Facebook and soon WhatsAppthe normal thing is to think that all this has come to stay.
