You received? Samsung Galaxy Note 10 gets July security patch update

Samsung continues to roll out the July security patch gradually to Galaxy smartphones. The novelty has already reached a number of devices, from entry-level to premium, including Galaxy S10 Lite, A53 5G and Note 20 5G. The newest added to the list of devices updated with the patch is the Galaxy Note 10.

At this first moment, only Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus users located in the United States have confirmed access to the new update. As usual, Samsung is releasing the update gradually. Other regions should be contemplated soon.

If you still haven’t received notification to download and install the new update via OTA on your Galaxy Note 10 or Note 10 Plus, check the availability of the new update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Is coming! Samsung Galaxy Note 10 starts receiving June security update

Samsung continues to follow the policy of releasing updates regularly for its phones and after releasing the update with the May patch for the Galaxy Note 10 line, now it’s time for the June security package, which is now available for some variants of it.

According to SamMobile, the update is only being released today for the Galaxy Note 10 in Switzerland with the N970FXXS8HVE9 version expected to be released for the Galaxy Note 10 Plus soon as they both carry a lot of similarities.

Unfortunately, the portal still does not inform the size of this update, but it should not be large, as it only carries the June 2022 security package and fixes for 70 security holes involving WiFi and Bluetooth that have already been detailed by Samsung previously.

You can check if any updates are available on your Galaxy by going to the menu: Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. It is worth remembering that Samsung is already releasing the same update for the Galaxy S10 line. Both updates are expected to hit more regions in the coming weeks.

Samsung starts releasing May security package for the Galaxy Note 10 line in the US

Samsung has started the distribution of the May security package for the Galaxy Note 10 line devices in the United States. It should arrive in more regions in the coming days.

In March, it received the update with One UI 4.1.

The latest software update for Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus has firmware N97xUSQS7HVD1 and includes the May 2022 security patch which fixes various privacy and security vulnerabilities, as well as bug fixes and performance improvements.

The update is only available for Sprint and T-Mobile carrier models in the United States, but will arrive for more devices in the coming days.

If you have one of the Galaxy Note 10 line devices and want to see if the update has arrived for you, go to “Settings”, “Software Update”, and choose the option “Download and Install”. To download the new firmware and install it manually, click here.

Recently, Samsung Galaxy A33 also received security patch update from May.
