At the Korean NRRA (National Radio Research Agency) paid an official visit to Xiaomi’s latest smart bracelet, the Smart Band 8. What we can learn from this is that the Band 8 will use Bluetooth 5.1, that the model number of the device is M2239B1, and that the built-in Li-ion battery will be 3.87 V.

The NRRA photos tell you more. On the one hand, they confirm that the magnetic pins charging connector will remain, the pill-like oval shape will remain, and the strap will change. Instead of the previous rubber strap that surrounds the body of the device, the new model will use two separate straps, and based on the photo, these will be attached to the body of the bracelet by a magnet and a button. We have already seen this solution in the case of Smart Band 7 Pro. As you can see in the picture, the bracelet will still be equipped with a pulse oximeter, but it is not yet known whether the number of health or sports functions will be expanded.

In addition to the Smart Band 8, the Korean authorities have also investigated the Redmi Watch 3 Lite version, which suggests that it may soon introduce and launch Xiaomi’s new cheaper smartwatches and bracelets.
