At least that’s what Lu Weibing, one of Xiaomi’s presidents, reveals on his profile on the Chinese social network Weibo. One of his followers asked when the brand’s new foldable would be released, and Weibing only replied “See you in August”.
That is, for now, the expectation is that it will be shown to the public next August. This will be shortly after its main competitor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, is made official, as Samsung has confirmed that it will hold an event at the end of July and several rumors point out that the next Galaxy Unpacked will be the stage for the arrival of the new foldables of the South Corean.
It is also important to remember that Xiaomi has the custom of launching its folding devices only in China, with no information about a possible expansion of the Mix Fold 3 to the global market.
