Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 should have camera under the screen and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
Xiaomi is expected to reveal its new generation of folding smartphones for 2023, with the presentation of the future Mix Fold 3. The latest leaks about the device bring more information about what to expect in terms of camera and performance.
The Digital Chat Station profile, known for its accuracy in smartphone leaks, pointed out on the Chinese social network Weibo that the foldable should have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the same platform seen in many other models of the brand currently available on the market.
In addition, its body must be thin and light and must have water resistance, thanks to an IP type certification. Another highlight that the smartphone would have a front camera hidden under the main screen.
Among the other configurations mentioned, there is still a rear camera with a periscopic lens, which would be responsible for 5x optical zoom without loss of quality. Finally, there would also be support for 50W fast wireless charging.
The new device should be presented by the manufacturer at the beginning of the second half of this year, possibly in August of this year, being made official alongside a possible Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 Explorer Edition, which should have some minor differences.
