Xiaomi continues to promote the launch of the Xiaomi Civi 3 on the eve of the official announcement. And, after having confirmed features such as the complete look with a triple camera in a circular format, the company now confirms the look of the front panel with a curved glass screen and a dual front camera in an oblong notch, inherited from the previous generation.
In new teasers published by the brand on its Chinese social networks, the device appears in purple color confirming the Samsung C6 screen with OLED technology with a PWM dimming rate of 1,920 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits.
It is also revealed that the device will arrive with a dual 32MP front camera in a pill-shaped cutout housing a 78-degree angled main lens and a 100-degree secondary lens for wider selfies.
The sensors will be able to record videos in 4K resolution for those looking to record moments in high quality, something rare to see on Xiaomi cell phones, where even tops of the line like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra are limited to 1080p. Another differential present in the device is its set of two-tone flashes for uniform color selfies even in dark scenes.
We hope that Xiaomi will also continue betting on exclusive software features for “beautification”, such as skin smoothing, different filters and virtual adjustments to mask supposed imperfections.
The Xiaomi CIVI 3 will be officially presented on May 25th, next Thursday, and the company has already confirmed that the device will bet on a thin body with only 7.56 mm thick, weight of 173.5 grams and width of 71 .7 mm for everyday wearing comfort.
This will be the world’s first cell phone with Dimensity 8200-Ultra, MediaTek’s new processor optimized in partnership with Xiaomi to deliver better photographic results on CIVI 3, such as more accurate colors, low noise, natural cropping portrait mode, advanced HDR and better continuous shooting performance.
It is worth remembering that CIVI 3 has an exclusive launch in the Chinese market, but it should reach other countries with different nomenclature. The Xiaomi CIVI 2, for example, was launched in Brazil as Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G.
