In addition to the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, the Chinese manufacturer has also developed another high-end smartphone. We are talking about the Xiaomi 12S, which this week underwent a benchmark test.
According to the sheet revealed by Geekbench, the smartphone must be powered by Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. The tested set still has 12GB of RAM (10.91GB in the listing) and native Android 12.
As a result, the smartphone scored 1328 points in the single-core test and 4234 in the multi-core test.
Check it out below:
As much as it still doesn’t have an exact release date, the Xiaomi 12S has already passed certification at the 3C of China. Therefore, we know that it should be announced with a 120 Hz AMOLED screen.
In addition, the main sensor of the rear camera is 50 MP and is Leica certified, while the battery must support 67W fast charging.
Of course, more details should leak over the next few days, but you can already check out a real image of the device in the original text.
Xiaomi 12S with Leica camera has real image revealed before launch
Xiaomi confirmed this week that it has partnered strategically with Leica for the launch of its next flagship smartphone. The novelty made the Chinese take the place that was previously held by her compatriot Huawei, and there is great public anxiety about the details of the new device.
According to leaks from China, the first Xiaomi phone with cameras named by Leica should be announced in July and it will be the Xiaomi 12S. The Pro version of the device has already had some details revealed earlier, but now we have a real image of the standard variant.
As we can see below, the Xiaomi 12S has a rear design very similar to the one found in the current Xiaomi 12 line, being that the biggest news is in the camera module: the Leica brand.
With the number 2206123SC, the Xiaomi 12S has already been located in the IMEI database and is currently undergoing certification by the regulatory agencies in China (3C and TENAA).
Therefore, we do not yet have a complete sheet or specific details about the smartphone. Even so, it is already certain that it must be announced with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and other powerful specs.
Sources indicate that we should expect AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, fingerprint reader integrated into the panel, basic variant with 8 GB + 128 GB, battery around 4,500 mAh and fast charging that should reach 120W.
For now, Xiaomi does not comment on the leaks.
