Who doesn’t remember the iconic Winnie the Pooh? The child character, created by Alan Alexander Milne, in 1921, lives in the imagination of many people as an affectionate and gentle animal, always ready to help his friends. Something very different from the murderous version of the bear seen in the film. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeywhich just got a sequel.

Scheduled to be released on February 15, 2023, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey was scripted and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who reimagined the beloved character as a bloodthirsty serial killer. Now, the official account of the work on Twitter has announced that the feature will win a sequel even before the official debut of the first project. Check out:

In the post, we see a poster for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 with the following sentence “Friends will gather… to take revenge”. Furthermore, the film’s official tagline was also revealed: “More blood. More honey”.

What to expect from the movie?

For now, the sequence has not yet gained many details, however, we can imagine that it will follow the events of the first production, which has the following synopsis:

“The days of adventure and happiness came to an end, as Christopher Robin, now a young adult, left Winnie the Pooh and Piglet alone to survive. As time passed, feeling angry and abandoned, the two became wild. After taste blood, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet set off in search of a new source of food. It’s not long before their bloody journeys begin.”

The main cast of the film includes Gillian Broderick, Chris Cordell, Paula Coiz, Frederick Dallaway, Amber Doig-Thorne, Craig David Dowsett, Simon Ellis,

Remembering that new productions with Winnie the Pooh and the other characters created by Milne only became possible because there are no more copyright rules on them. That is, anyone can use the little animals to create any kind of work, including horror films like blood and honey.

For now, the horror production has not won a premiere date in Brazil and will only be shown in selected theaters in the United States.
