We know more about the screen of OPPO folding phone

A foldable… and curved screen!

First – but we already knew that – the leaker recalls that OPPO’s proposal will recall the philosophy of a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Namely a smartphone that unfolds into a tablet when you open it like a book.

The front screen, the one that we will see when used in “smartphone” mode, should only offer a frequency of 60 Hz. But unlike products launched by the competition, it could be curved on slices. A central punch will house the front camera.

Unfolded, it’s down to a 7.8 or 8-inch screen that we should be dealing with. An AMOLED model, LTPO type, which this time will offer a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The camera would be housed here in the upper left corner.

OPPO folding phone: An enticing photo setup

A few days before the (Chinese) launch of the folding smartphone, Digital Chat Station maintains that the product will be powered by a Snapdragon 888, which we now know very well. a flagship (necessarily), which will also have a photo configuration a priori more muscular than that of a Galaxy Z Fold 3.

First OPPO Foldable smartphone “Peacock” to be launch next month

According to rumor, this folding OPPO will parade with a Sony IMX766 wide-angle sensor offering 50 megapixels, as well as a Sony IMX481 of 16 megapixels (ultra wide-angle) and a Samsung ISOCELL S5K3M5 of 12 megapixels (telephoto). For selfies, it’s a generous 32-megapixel sensor that should show you in your best light.

Finally, and this is not a surprise, the mobile will run on ColorOS and will be based, at launch, on Android 11. But there is no doubt that this ambitious product for OPPO will end up moving to Android 12, and sooner rather than later.
