We heard about a (real) competitor of the S-Pen at Motorola a few months ago. Today, it looks like the Moto G Stylus 5G is upon us, ready to be unveiled to the world. Its advantage? It would be more accessible than Samsung’s excellent but pricey Galaxy S22 Ultra .

An affordable alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra at Motorola

While the all-new Galaxy S22 Ultra is an excellent premium smartphone, worthy heir to the Galaxy Note, its price can be a (very) big drag. Available from 1259 euros, it’s a hell of an investment for a sacred jewel of technology. If you’re looking for a decent smartphone with a stylus to let your imagination run wild without spending a fortune, Motorola might have the solution. And it’s called the Moto G Stylus 5G.

According to 91 Mobiles, this middle smartphone would be equipped with the Snapdragon 695 SoC for high performance as well as a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. With a triple photo sensor, including a 50-megapixel main one, the Moto G Stylus 5G will allow you to capture the moments that matter in the best possible way. For selfies, you can rely on the 16-megapixel front camera. As for the screen, a mid-range smartphone obliges, Motorola persists with the LCD. However, its 6.67-inch screen offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is very significant and quite rare in this segment. There is also an FHD+ resolution. Cherry on the cake ? Motorola keeps a jack!

Of course, faced with the impressive technical data sheet of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, there is no photo. But for a mid-range smartphone, the Moto G Stylus 5G has nothing to be ashamed of. Its price will probably be its best asset against Samsung’s stylish latest. For the moment, however, the latter remains unknown. Like its release date. But we imagine that Motorola will soon tell us more about its next smartphone.

So, if you are looking for a smartphone with a stylus to take notes or draw at a lower price than what is currently available, Motorola offers a phone worthy of the name. We just have to wait for the official launch.
