In a recent interview with Empire magazine, Alfred Gough, creator of the series alongside Miles Millar, said he was excited about the possibility of Wandinha being renewed by the streaming giant.

“Miles and I have been talking to each other about [a 2ª temporada]🇧🇷 There is certainly more to explore in the world of the Addams”, said the producer, who went on to explain that Wandinha it is not a reboot, but rather an addition to the other productions in the franchise.

Wanda’s first season arrived yesterday, November 23, and has 8 episodes in total. Therefore, if the series is actually renewed, it is expected that the new batch of episodes will only debut at the end of 2023 or in the first half of 2024.

Everything will also depend on the level of success of the premiere season, considering the metrics that Netflix takes into account to renew or not a production, such as hours watched, position in the top 10, impact on social media, etc.

As for the plot of a 2nd season, it is still too early to speculate, as we have to wait for the outcomes of the first part of the series.
