Vivo has quietly launched a new entry-level handset with 5G connectivity in Thailand: the vivo Y30 5G. Its release comes as no surprise, as it had appeared in certifications in recent weeks.
In the specifications, the device has a MediaTek chipset, 5,000 mAh battery and is ready for the 5G generation for a low price.
The vivo Y30 5G features MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both can be expanded with virtual RAM (+2GB) or with a microSD card up to 1TB respectively. In the operating system, it comes standard with Android 12 under the FuntouchOS 12 interface.
The phone comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution (720 x 1,600 pixels), 60 Hz refresh rate and a drop-shaped notch to house the 8-megapixel front sensor, which can also be used for facial recognition. At the rear, there is a dual camera module with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
For power, the vivo Y30 5G has a 5,000mAh battery pack with support for 10W fast charging. It comes with charger, case and a film in the box.

Vivo Y30 5G was only launched in Thailand and 8,700 (~R$1,300) and has Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy color options.
