Vivo is releasing new versions of its entry-level smartphone, the Vivo Y12, with different characters and minor spec changes. After getting to know the Vivo Y12 in November, now it’s time to learn about the new Vivo Y12G.

The company has just revealed the Vivo Y12G price in India because there are no more rumors about its availability in other regions. The single 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model of the Vivo Y12G is priced at Rs. 10,990 ($148.15 USD) in India. Vivo India’s website currently carries the phone in two colors: Glacier Blue and Phantom Black.

Vivo Y12G Specifications
The Snapdragon 439 SoC powers the Vivo Y12G, which comes preloaded with Punch Touch OS 11 based on Android 11. Vivo Y12G is equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage space. You can extend your storage space up to 256GB with a microSD card and weighs about 191 grams.
It features a prominent chin, as expected in this price bracket, and a drop-shaped slot at the top that houses the 8MP selfie camera, while the rear houses 13MP and 2MP dual cameras.

The smartphone features a 5000 mAh powerful battery powered by a micro USB connector. Vivo did not tell us the charging speed, but we have confirmed that the Y12G supports 5W charging. Other features of the Vivo Y12G include a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature as well.
