Can you imagine walking with your gaming PC everywhere? Well now it will be possible thanks to the new product of Steam. Valve announced in mid-2021 its new portable console called Steam Deck, which bears many similarities are the Nintendo Switch.
Without a doubt, it is one of the most innovative technological devices of recent years. It is a laptop that will allow us to play triple-A titles at low resolution.
We can access the library of games from the Steam profile and run them from the same console. In turn, Valve confirmed that you can download almost any program since it is a mini PC.
If you wish, you could install Nintendo emulators or perhaps other platforms like the Epic Games Store to enjoy Fortnite Battle Royale.

When does Steam Deck go on sale?
Through a statement on its official blog, Valve announced that they will begin accepting the first purchases on Friday, February 25. “Customers will have 3 days (72 hours) to make the purchase from the date they receive the email to start the order,” it is detailed.
In this way, the distribution will only begin on February 28. Being a very limited product (as usual with Valve) they will continue to work via email confirmation.
If you haven’t already, Valve is still allowing you to reserve the Steam Deck for $5. However, you may have to wait a long time – the order page now states that you may expect to get your order “after Q2 2022.” If you’re still undecided, read our hands-on thoughts of the Steam Deck here and watch the video below.
