A few hours later, the account had been re-enabled without further explanation. But just as quickly as the account reappeared, the user was disabled again.
The businessman explained in the afternoon that the measure was taken because the account does not comply with the doxing, which is based on intentionally and publicly revealing personal information about an individual or organization. “Real-time posting of someone else’s location violates the doxing policy, but delayed posting of locations is fine,” Musk explained.
However, a little less than two hours after that and still in the midst of the controversy unleashed, the young man behind the account celebrated that he had regained access to it.
Sweeney had appealed in the morning to the little bird’s help center to prove that he hadn’t broken the rules, just like other accounts still active that follow the movements of celebrity jets like Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Russian oligarchs.
In any case, during his absent hours he continued his job of publishing the takeoff and landing of the jet on his Instagram and Facebook profiles, something that makes the work of the press much easier when they want to find him for a statement or photo. However, not even Elon Musk himself can make up his mind on this issue since since he took over as head of the network he has been sending mixed messages about what is authorized and what is not on the platform.
For example, restored accounts that were suspended for issues related to non-compliance with the regulation, including that of the former US president Donald Trumpwho had been highly questioned for his controversial statements but obtained the support of the majority of Internet users who participated in the Musk survey to define his return to Twitter.
But, on the other hand, the businessman canceled the rapper’s account Kanye West -also known as Ye- after his posts with anti-Semitic messages, which caused him to lose the support of many brands and put him at the center of a cancellation campaign.
