To repair your Apple products, you can now go to FNAC-Darty

To strengthen its leading position in the repair of electronic products, the FNAC-Darty group has just signed an agreement with the giant Apple. From now on, users of Pommé products will be able to go to the 140 WeFix points of sale, a subsidiary of the group and French leader in the express repair of smartphones and tablets.

“We are proud of this agreement on several counts” said Enrique Martinez, general manager of the FNAC-Darty group. The WeFix subsidiary has 140 stores spread throughout France with a network that makes repairs more accessible. From now on, customers will therefore be able to go to these shops to repair their iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch according to Apple’s know-how.

Thanks to its new CSAA (Apple Authorized Service Centers) approval, WeFix stores will be able to obtain spare parts from the brand and teams will be trained in the know-how and use of Apple tools. For customers, going through WeFix (as with any other authorized repairer) is the assurance of maintaining the Apple warranty after the repair, even in the event of a change of parts. In addition, this also makes it possible to secure the maintenance of all the functionalities of the devices.

This agreement allows FNAC-Darty to maintain its leading position in the repair of electronic products. The group is committed to achieving the goal of 2.5 million products repaired per year in 2025. “The group is striving to offer its customers new services to support them towards more responsible consumption” specifies the general manager of FNAC-Darty.

AppleCare Services offered in FNAC-Darty stores

In addition to approval on repairs, the FNAC-Darty group will offer the famous AppleCare Services warranty. In all FNAC and Darty stores as well as on e-commerce sites, the group will offer the Apple warranty extension in its range of insurance.

AppleCare Services includes worldwide coverage, support and Apple service. Among the guarantees offered, product exchange within a very short time is undoubtedly the one that made Apple’s success. As part of the agreement, customers will therefore have to go through WeFix in order to see if the defective product is repairable. If not, it will be exchanged for a new model.

In addition, AppleCare provides 24/7 priority access to Apple experts and additional services. Finally, the battery failure warranty lasts for the duration of the cover, ie two years from the date of purchase. This investment can be interesting since the price of iPhone repairs for example (especially screens) has increased enormously since the iPhone XS.
