Spotify benefits the producers of podcast with the distribution and exposure of its content on its platform regardless of what it is and the duration of the episodes. They can deal with topics related to video games, art, health, music, sports, among others. But on the other hand, a group of people is in charge of producing content related to the sex life and couple relationships.

This type of content, even if it is about a topic considered taboo by some people or that can be related to the obscene, is treated by the podcast producers with respect, highlighting not only the pleasure of sexual practices, but also the complicated aspects of life as a couple, be it heterosexual, homosexual, polyamorous, etc.

The central objective of the following podcasts is not to generate morbidity or a similar reaction, but to entertain through anecdotes, generate empathy and educate their listeners about the importance of normalizing sexual relationships.

Sexopolis

It started as a radio program in Mexico with episodes published on Spotify dating from July 2014 to the present. It is led by Paulina Millán, sexologist and member of the Mexican Institute of Sexology; and Jonathan Altamirano, who is also a sexologist.

The pair of presenters present research scientific research on sex and conducts interviews with different people related to or who have sexual experiences particulars related to the topic to be dealt with in each episode, which lasts between 40 minutes and one hour.

“Sexuality was not made to be so solemn or serious. If we understand the process that sexuality is a game, we are going to have fun and connect with our pleasure”, says Jon in a program dedicated to oral sex.

It is currently available on Apple Podcast, Spotify and Podimo, the platform on which its most recent season is exclusively developed.

The Colombian sex coach, Annyull Maestre, is the host of this podcast produced by BumBox Podcast. This program has short episodes (between 5 and 20 minutes).
