From July 7, Thor: Love and Thunder will be screened in theaters in Latin America and, two weeks after its premiere, the first reactions of the specialized press in the United States through Twitter. This is a new adventure starring the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth), having fought alongside the Avengers in the battle against Thanos that the world witnessed in Avengers: Endgame.

In addition, the film will not only feature the return of Taika Waititiin the direction and as the voice of Korg, and Tessa Thompson like Valkyrie. Natalie Portman reprises the role of Jane Fosteralthough in a much more changed version and based on the original story of the comics of mighty thor. “The film finds Thor on a journey unlike anything he has ever faced: a search for inner peace. But his retreat is interrupted by a galactic assassin known as Gorr the Butcher of Gods, who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of the Valkyrie King, Korg, and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who, to Thor’s surprise, inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, like Mighty Thor. Together, they embark on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the Butcher God’s revenge and stop him before it’s too late,” reads the official synopsis.

The newly arrived comments on Thor: Love and Thunder describe it as a cinematic event very much in line with Waititi’s visionwho has already demonstrated with Thor: Ragnarök who is not afraid to take risks within the Cinematic Universe of Marvel. In turn, these also allude to the genius of the soundtrack that will have Guns N’ Roses as the main course, and thus it is clear that “Sweet Child O’Mine” will not be the only thing we will hear from the hard rock band on this tape.

first reactions of Thor: Love and Thunder

Courtney Howard of Variety: “He has an appetite for destruction and laughter. He is totally awesome! Taika Waititi offers a subversive and irreverent show. Great story, stakes and character building. Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman, superb. Russell Crowe and Christian Bale slip easily into his world.”

Erik Davis of fandango: “Another classic Thor adventure! Thor: Love and Thunder It’s everything I wanted it to be. Big, colorful and bizarre Guns N’ Roses-fueled battles with a hopelessly romantic story about discovering love in unexpected places. Christian Bale and Russell Crowe are especially great. And Korg!

Germain Lussier of Gizmodo: “It’s what I imagine living in the mind of Taika Waititi might be like. She’s wild, funny, a little over the top in the middle, but in the end it all comes together in a surprising, moving and satisfying way. Lots of Guns N’ Roses too. Very much”.

Simon Thompson of Forbes: “It’s a vivid, vibrant explosion that delivers. Hemsworth’s Thor remains a jewel in Marvel’s crown. Bale’s Gorr is a killer boogeyman that combines the absurd and the creepy. Portman’s Foster and Thompson’s Valkyrie are a top-tier pairing. Crowe’s Zeus is *chef’s kiss*.”

Rachel Leishman of The Mary Sue: “It’s the perfect combination of Taika at his best with comedy and a punch to the stomach all rolled into one. I left this movie emotionally satisfied while sobbing and it was just perfect. We have a rock soundtrack in the style of dad. In the words of my new favorite characters: AHH.”
