WhatsApp is getting three new functions in the near future that could make your life easier. Because while the parent company is only changing its name, WhatsApp announced exciting features via Twitter. WhatsApp also proves that the messenger wants to develop further after all the scandals and problems in October.

In WhatsApp, you will now find three new functions that we will introduce to you below! Messenger announced on Twitter that the features were already usable. So be sure to check whether you are using the latest version of WhatsApp and update the app if necessary. Following are the new WhatsApp features described in details.
Suggestions for WhatsApp stickers
The first innovation is the sticker suggestion function in the app! If you type in a word that can be expressed by a sticker – for example, “happy” – the symbol next to the text field changes from an emoji to a sticker. If you tap on it, you will see a list of suggestions with suitable stickers.
The function is quite simple, but it can simplify the steps required to send the popular stickers. A nice time saver!
WhatsApp’s new link preview
Another innovation announced is an improvement to the feature that shows a thumbnail of links on the conversation screen. According to Zap’s Twitter post, messages, videos, and tweets will now display more information.

WhatsApp Web Image Editor
The last new feature is specific to WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop. The desktop app now offers a simple image editor with which you can add text, emojis and stickers, as well as crop images. This means that the images no longer have to go through an image editing program just to crop them.
