These are the free events on the cloud, with the participation of the Formula 1 driver Checo Pérez

Data is the fuel that gives life to the Formula 1. Currently, many of the decisions that are made during the competition are conditioned to the data that the vehicle collects. Thus, as the race progresses, the strategy changes and its runners adapt to the conditions that determine the competition. In short, everything is done along the way with a single goal: to win.

Therefore, technology brings benefits to that sport and itself to all organizations in all industries, as data becomes the core of many corporate strategies.

In this regard, the technology multinational Oracle created Oracle Racing to Clouda series of events that will show the importance of cloud services.

“We will show how the innovation of cloud technology broadens the horizons of companies by accelerating performance (…) Through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Data Science Platform it is possible to improve business performance and leverage the digital acceleration of companies of different sectors and sizes in Latin America”, explains Rodrigo Galvão, Senior Vice President of Technology, Oracle Latin America.

Oracle Racing to Cloud, which will be free, will have as its central axis a conversation on October 5, with the Formula 1 driver, Czech Perez, who will tell how data processing is decisive in competences. In addition, there will be a data analysis and artificial intelligence workshop; and the Oracle Red Bull Racing Hands on Lab, a laboratory where attendees can learn more about Analytics and Machine Learning.

In that order of ideas, Oracle’s cloud infrastructure becomes a resource available to all organizations with several differentiators: superior performance, economy and extreme security.

In addition, indicates Rodrigo Galvão, “we have more than 40 cloud regions, the highest number compared to the competition,” he says.

To make the process easier, the technology firm has a cloud with an area dedicated to “Cloud Journey” or migration to the cloud, which has 500 professionals in Latin America who have the exclusive objective of accompanying clients from the beginning to the end of the process.

“When subscribing to an Oracle cloud service, each client is automatically contacted by an experienced administrator, a professional with the appropriate technical level to help him in his embarkation in the cloud and in his knowledge of the best practices of use”, says Galvão.

This methodology has been decisive in driving organizations in their digital transformation, because as companies become more open in adopting multi-cloud strategies, they understand that depending on a single infrastructure provider is not always the most practical.

“The reason is that not all clouds are best suited for all workloads, and secondly, there are benefits to having cloud options for many reasons: technological, security, regional and price”, says the executive.

Thus, with the development of these solutions that seek to reach more businessmen and entrepreneurs from Latin AmericaToday, Oracle has more than 4,000 clients that use its infrastructure in the region, creating benefits such as financial agility, improvements in supply chain processes, and providing an experience with the same technology that is at the level of the Formula 1 team: Oracle Red Bull Racing.

*The entire series of events is virtual and will be available in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Registration is free and is done at this link.
