There is a Hungarian price for the Huawei Mate 50 Pro

We knew quite well what Huawei would announce, since the Mate 50 device family has been available domestically, that is, in China, for some time. The question was more about how different the European edition is, which models they are trying their luck with here, what the price of the product will be and how they can overcome the restrictions that prevent most consumers from buying a Huawei phone. Well, we got answers to all of these.

In Hungary, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro will be available in two colors, this is one model from the series, and the opening price is HUF 569,000. Which is a very confident pricing for a product without 5G, without Google services by default, even if it received a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, it flashed a 120 Hz, 1212 x 2616 pixel OLED display in 6.74 inches (with the same notch as the Apple wouldn’t have dared to draw it either), and the main attraction of the rear camera trio is the aperture that can be changed in 10 steps between F/1.4 and F/4.0.

The 50-megapixel main camera, supported by laser autofocus and optical stabilization, has a motorized aperture, which is unique in the mobile field, but there is no reason to complain about the 64-megapixel winter module, which offers three and a half times magnification either, only the 13-megapixel ultra-wide solution looks relatively mediocre on paper. Stereo speakers, Nano Memory expandability, 66-watt wired and 50-watt wireless charging, 4700 mAh battery and IP68 protection are also on the list of features, so the Mate 50 Pro offers a lot in terms of hardware.

However, there is no 5G, and elements of the Google ecosystem are still missing, but now there is a twist in the story. On the one hand, the Petal Search search engine has been added to the AppGallery application store, which automatically installs many sources from APK files, and on the other hand, Huawei has officially started to announce that those who really need Google can get it with the G Space application. with an ad-free account compared to the interface. AG Space is an intermediary app that practically makes Google services believe that it is a former Huawei product, so access is not restricted, in a very simplified way it pretends to be someone else, which it actually is.

This used to be a tolerated but unsupported software trick, which is now also part of Huawei’s official communication, almost like the solution to most difficulties, and for now it seems that Google does not support, but does not prohibit the use of restrictions in this way flexible interpretation. Of course, data protection concerns may arise, and the fact that there is no promise that it will always work, Huawei sees G Space as a third-party application, and the identity of the real developer is still unclear. The solution will be presented in detail later, because it really works anyway.

In addition to the Mate 50 Pro, the Nova 10, which was previously presented in Berlin, was also released here at an opening price of HUF 239,000, also supporting the use of G Space.
