A minor update to last year’s ZTE Axon 30 is the ZTE Axon 30S, which was presented by the manufacturer in China on September 26. The design and specifications have not changed, but the novelty already received MyOS 12 based on Android 12 at the factory. The pricing has also changed, the 8/128 GB model costs one hundred thousand HUF 1698 yuan, and the 12/256 GB model costs 2198 yuan, equivalent to HUF 130 thousand, which means a decrease in the prices given in yuan. The manufacturer has not yet announced whether the 30S will also have international distribution, sales have started on the domestic market.
The color shades may be slightly different than last year’s version, but otherwise the housing and its design are exactly the same to the millimeter. (source: GSMArena / ZTE) [+]
With the ZTE Axon 30S, the buyer gets a 6.92-inch 10-bit OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz in a black or blue housing. The phone hides its front-facing camera under the display, it is a 16-megapixel sensor, parallel to it, but much lower, there is also an optical fingerprint reader under the display. On the back there is a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 5-megapixel macro camera, the hardware brain is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip, and the battery is 4200 mAh, which comes with 55-watt fast charging with a suitable wall adapter. It is really not worth going into further detail, as we already have a readable test of the device, since it is specifically the same Axon 30 5G with an older version of Android.
