The Witcher: Season 3 gets premiere preview; watch!

Finally, Tudum 2022, a Netflix event with news about streaming series and movies, has arrived. Among the presenters were stars such as Camila Queiroz, Sheron Menezzes, Millie Bobby Brown, Gal Gadot and Jamie Foxx.

The success The Witcher was not left out of the occasion, and the 3rd season of the series was one of the topics covered. In a video, actor Henry Cavill, who plays Geralt, the protagonist of the show, revealed that the series will premiere in the summer of 2023.

The official synopsis released by Netflix for the new season reads as follows: “As monarchs, mages and beasts of the continent compete to capture Ciri, Geralt takes her into hiding, determined to protect his newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy them. In charge of Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer takes them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hoped to find out more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they find they have landed on a battleground of political corruption, dark magic and betrayal. They must fight back, put everything on the line — or risk losing each other forever.”

The cast includes Henry Cavill as Geralt, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Joey Batey as Jaskier, Anna Shaffer as Triss, Kim Bodnia as Vesemir, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla and Eamon Farren as Cahir.

Remembering that the recordings of the 3rd season of The Witcher have already been completed and the series is expected to premiere in 2023.
