And recently, Angela Kang, showrunner of the production, spoke to deadline about what’s to come in the last few episodes.

According to Kang, the audience will be positively surprised and many emotions will be at play. Even in the titled “Lockdown”, it was already possible to visualize some surprises, with a montage of moments from the past, in which Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) appear.

“We were looking to increase the emotional content in these final episodes,” he revealed. “At this point, our characters are calculating how much they’ve changed over time. So it felt interesting to reflect on the past and how that defines them going forward,” she added.
