Pedro Infante He was one of the artists who gave himself completely to his fans, whom he always thanked for their support; however, on one occasion the actor reached the hits with one of his fans, who found it interesting pull her hair.

Throughout his artistic career, Pedro Infante always sought to be close to his fans, which is why on many occasions he agreed to do autograph signings at the least expected moments, he went to different nightclubs to perform some of his hits as a surprise to the public or organized charity events.

However, on one occasion the Idol of Guamuchil faced a situation in which he did not know how to react for fear of the damage that could be caused, he hit one of his fans in the face, leaving him a purple eye and, for this, arose a great controversy.

It was during one of his three visits to Venezuelain 1956, that the Sinaloan was giving autographs to his public, when a young man approached him, with the same initial intention of only obtaining the singer’s signature, but he would have been curious about Infante’s hair.

By then, Pedro had suffered his second plane crashwhich nearly killed him. Due to the severity of the impact, Idol they had to put one titanium plate on the headwhich covered part of his brain that, according to Lupita Torrentera, had been left on the air after the crash. Therefore, it was rumored that the actor had to wear a toupee during his last years of life.

The use of this wig was one of the biggest rumours, which is why the fan asked Infante if his hair was real and proceeded to pull it sharplywhich immediately annoyed the interpreter of My darling and reacted with the blow.

Pedro’s fist reached the eye of his fan and, after a few minutes, caused a severe swelling and bruise on his face.

Since they were not alone, the public reacted and this incident began to circulate rapidly, until it reached all of Latin America, causing great controversy. Some pointed out that the Immortal Idol there was hit a childwhich was unacceptable to his audience.

However, when he arrived in Bolivia in 1957, the journalist Luis Jaraba Sanz questioned Infante about this event and recounted how it all happened, to clarify that she felt attacked and even he feared for his health.

And it is that, because of the accident he suffered in the plane, doctors warned the protagonist of We poor that he could not allow them to touch his head at all, because this could mean his end if the plate he had touched his brain.

He hit his fan, who was not a child, but seemed to be the same age as the Sinaloan. “I hit him, yes, but not a kid. I calculate thirty (…) I gave him a backhand”, Said the actor in what would have been his last interview.

He recalled that his fan was pulling his hair for a long time and, because he couldn’t stand anyone touching his head, less if they didn’t know the risks this meant for him, he dropped the blow.

Pedro Infante at that time also assured that I didn’t use toupee to cover the place where the plaque was, but instead combed her hair so that the scar was not obvious. He also said that he was proud of the black eye he left behind, because for him that was the only response he had to give in the face of such an attack.
