Starting with the enormous 14.6-inch screen of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, larger than that of some laptops. The panel benefits from a WQXGA + definition, i.e. 2560 × 1600 pixels. This is the QHD + equivalent of widescreen formats.

The slab would be surrounded by borders with a thickness of 6.3 mm and would integrate a notch housing a double front photo sensor: a wide-angle and an ultra-wide-angle of 12 megapixels each. We would also be entitled to two cameras on the back: a 13 MP wide-angle sensor and a 6 MP ultra-wide-angle.

DeX mode evolves

The device is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, Qualcomm’s most powerful chip to date. Several memory configurations should be offered, with 8, 12, or 16 GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB of storage space depending on the version.

The autonomy would be entrusted to an imposing battery of 11,200 mAh, it is necessary well that to feed such a large screen with such a resolution of image. Fortunately, Samsung would have planned a wired charging of up to 45W so as not to have to spend an entire night to recharge the battery.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra would be released under One UI 4.1, the manufacturer’s software overlay based on Android 12. Improvements to DeX mode for a true desktop experience are expected on this model, including support for portrait mode.
