The South Korean manufacturer has already made the update available on its domestic phones, and at the end of last week, it also started sending it to models sold on the European market. The A536BXXU4CWB1 firmware version update is a little more than one gigabyte (1381 MB), and in addition to the One UI 5.1 novelties, it also includes the February 2023 security package. The update should be available as OTA in your phone settings.

Today, the manufacturer also launched the One UI 5.1 system for the popular Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, which can be considered the predecessor of the A53, but it is currently only available on the domestic market, the wider launch will begin in the coming weeks.

The One UI 5.1 update makes it easier for users to change the color tone of front-facing camera photos in the camera app. The gallery app makes it easier to edit or remove EXIF ​​information. From now on, the Samsung browser will search separately between history and bookmarks, the user can see more relevant information in the weather application, there is a new widget indicating the charge of connected devices. Modes and routines can now be set in more detail, and Windows Phone Link works better with Windows 11 PCs.
