At 9 complete seasons of The Office were added yesterday (1st) on Netflix. The series had been removed from the Brazilian version of the service at the end of 2020 and returns after an agreement between the streaming giant and the broadcaster NBC.
Despite the availability of production for Brazil, the history of the firm Dunder Mifflin was withdrawn from other countries. At the beginning of the year, Netflix subscribers in Australia, Israel, Turkey, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada and others are no longer able to access the show.
Contrary to what happened here, the broadcasting rights of The Office for these countries were not renewed possibly because of high costs. Even though there is a good audience, the red rental company spends a lot of money to keep the series in its library.
Brazilians celebrate
Even though it is possible to check the seasons of The Office on Prime Video, HBO Max and Star+, Brazilians celebrated the return of the series to the largest streaming company in the world.
The world’s most popular streaming was a major contributor to a whole new generation of fans of Dwight, Jim, Pam, Kevin, Stanley, Phyllis, Andy and more.
