The scene in question, by the way, is remembered by the cast of The Office (and by the fans) as one of the sequences in which most of the actors did not contain themselves. If you look closely, during the cut, several stars “break” their characters and start laughing. Brian Baumgartner and Steve Carell, including, almost spoiled the scene for not being able to hide the laughter.
