Based on the previews, we expected the new devices of ZTE’s gamer brand to arrive on Friday, which eventually turned into a pre-order option rather than a presentation. While the ZTE Nubia Z50 arrived on schedule yesterday, the expected Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 device, optimized for gaming performance and experience, will have to wait until next Monday. Even so, it will be the first offer in the genre with the most powerful Qualcomm chip currently available.
According to the official preview, on December 26, the Red Magic 8 Pro series is presented, which must necessarily mean at least two devices. There has been no talk of a basic version without a suffix so far, so we assume that the manufacturer presents two Pro variants, one with a 5000 mAh battery and 165 watt fast charging, while we expect slightly more modest charging performance for the version with a larger battery (6000 mAh).
