Where is ‘The Marvels’ in the MCU?
This film will be the thirty-third of the MCU, and the third within the phase 5. Just as it happens with Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 and Ant-Man 3: Quantumania, It could be assumed that this new plot takes place, approximately, in 2025. This represents a large time jump compared to Captain Marvel (2019), the first film of this heroine, which is set in the 90s.
At this point, it is normal for more than one to be confused when establishing a temporal order of all the productions of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the company has already thought of a solution: it will publish a book with the official chronology from phase 1 to 5. This work will be titled The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline, and it is expected to go on sale next October. With this initiative, the franchise will seek to clarify all past events and prepare us for what is to come in this new stage.
