Disney+ announced on the night of last Monday (16) the first full trailer for the third season The Mandalorian. The preview gives details about the plot, which will take place after the events seen in Boba Fett bookreleased last year.
The trailer shows Baby Yoda’s powers growing and getting stronger, after having abandoned his Jedi training with Luke Skywalker to join Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal).
Also, it looks like we see a quick flashback to when Baby Yoda survived the attack by Anakin Skywalker and his clone troopers on the Jedi Temple. Check out the full season trailer:
“The Mandalorian’s journeys through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin was reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”

Returning to the cast are Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin/Mandalorian, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto and Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon. Actors Christopher Lloyd and Tim Meadows have been confirmed, but their roles have yet to be announced.
The new season of The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ on March 1.
