The graphic designer Ben Mornin, passionate about cinema as he already demonstrated with other montages such as the babies of Harry Potter and The Last of Ushas used again midjourney to convert to the characters of The Lord of the rings into adorable inhabitants of Middle-earth.

In the shared images, Mornin shows us a very different face from the film version of frodo (Elijah Wood) Sam (Sean Astin) Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), pippins (Billy Boyd) merry (Dominic Monaghan) gimbly (John Rhys-Davies), legolas (Orlando Bloom), boromir (Sean Bean) and Arwen (Liv Tyler).

The other animated versions of ‘The Lord of the Rings’

This new version reminds us of the animated movie The Lord of the rings released in 1978 and directed by Ralph Bakshi, in which we could already see the characters in this way. Although less cute. A film that screened a sequel that never saw the light of day.

The animated adaptation of JRR Tolkien’s work managed to raise over time up to 30 million dollars of collection worldwide. The film that we will always remember here, since Spain participated together with the United States and the United Kingdom in its creation.

It would not be the only animated film in this saga that also featured specials for television The Hobbit (1977) and return of the king (1980)both created by the producer Rankin/Bass.

Likewise, soon we will also be able to enjoy the new animated movie The Rohirrim War, produced by Warner Bros. A title that will show us the locations of Arda in a very different way than we are used to, after the Japanese anime filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama (ultraman, Star Wars: Visions) sat in the director’s chair.
