Instagram Direct Message (DM) Notes

‘Notes’ is a new way to share thoughts and see what different friends are up to through short text messages. Users can leave a note to anyone who follows them or just to the list of Best Friends (Close Friends).

This will appear at the top of the inbox of the selected group of people for 24 hours. The responses that people make to these notes appear as direct messages in the inbox of the social network. This function is already available.

Invite friends with the ‘Your turn’ sticker

Since Instagram introduced the ‘Your Turn’ sticker to Stories last year, the app has understood how the tool can help inspire people to share moments spontaneously and creatively.

Now, in the ‘Your Turn’ sticker, you can invite a friend whom you think would like to participate in that activity. Instagram, for its part, indicates that this function is currently in Test, but it will surely arrive in the not too distant future.

This new feature makes it easy to organize and co-create collections of saved posts to share with friends, helping users of the social network share common interests. They can find all the collections in the shared media section of the chat rooms.

Like the previous function, Instagram indicates that they are in the phase of Test.
