
With more than 2.7 million registered views in two weeks, the Hindi film Don entered the list of the most viewed non-English speaking films in Netflix. “In search of purpose, a headstrong college student explores campus life while enduring a controlling father and a strict professor.”, says the official synopsis. The plot follows Chakaravarthi (Sivakarthikeyan), a young Hindu who will tell in first person the extensive story of his university facet while driving in a car. In his beginnings, Ganesan, his father, shows concern for the professional future of his son, because he does not want to be an engineer, although he has agreed to study this career just to please him.

At school, the protagonist fell in love with Angu, who initially ignored him until he admits to reciprocate her feelings. However, life takes them on their separate paths after both of their parents have an argument over their relationship. At Best Engineering College (known as BEC for its acronym in English), he begins a new stage under the nickname of Don, a name earned after a fight with the detested Disciplinary Chancellor, Bhoominathan. Right there he will also meet up with her old love again and he tries again to court her without any result.
As Chakravarthi develops a plan to send Bhoominathan to Russia and create a peaceful environment at the university, Angu befriends Lilly. The latter is the one who reveals that the young woman’s rejection is due to the fact that her relationship with her father broke down during high school when they both left her. This is how he manages to heal that bond with a detail that ends up capturing his heart once again and the continuation of this romantic story is gestated.

Currently, the title is above ben and jody Y Belzebuthand is surpassed in the ranking by RRRMad About Work, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, IWC 5: The Brain, Parade of Hearts, Centaur Y The God’s anger. Originally, the comedy film was released on May 13 in theaters in India and, since last June 10, it is available in the catalog of Netflix.
