In May of last year, Samsung introduced the FE member of the Galaxy Tab S7 family, which was intended as a simpler, but still competent and, above all, cheaper alternative to the top series. We were also expecting a Fan Edition this year, but so far only the Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra have been released, and there has not been much news that the device, traditionally designed based on user feedback, is even planned.
Until now, because the tablet ran a round at Geekbench, but beyond the data registered there, we still don’t know much about the device. What is certain is that the Tab S8 FE with model number M-X506B, running Android 13, works with a MediaTek set, namely the MT8791V/TZA, which is the manufacturer’s mid-range solution optimized for tablets, called Kompanio T900. In principle, the above model number belongs to the 5G-capable version with 4 GB of system memory, and the WiFi version will arrive with the code number SM-X500, probably early next year.
