The Evil Meme: Momo Challenge movie debuts on Star+; check out!

Do you remember the Momo urban legend, which went viral on social media in 2019? The “entity” inspired the new horror movie The Evil Memeavailable in the Star+ catalog last Monday (10).
If you don’t remember, Momo’s challenge started when the image of the ‘doll’ appeared during children’s videos and encouraged teenagers to perform dangerous tasks, such as violent attacks or even suicide.
As with the story, the film’s plot shows an internet meme or urban legend coming to life and stalking its victims. “A teenager and her younger brother must stop a terrifying internet meme brought to life by their parents’ hysteria,” reads the official synopsis.

No, it’s not a joke. The movie “O Meme do Mal”, about “Momo”, is now available on Star+ here in Brazil. I just think they missed the chance to name the movie “A Momo do Mal”, but ok. pic.twitter.com/C99oUXj6og
