Information about the hardware is that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC operating at an increased clock rate, which the S23 phones will receive, will be manufactured on Samsung’s production lines, while the other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoCs are already manufactured on TSMC’s nodes. According to the data known so far, the clock signal of the performance core in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is maximized at 3.19 GHz, while the Galaxy S23 was tested with a CPU core of 3.36 GHz. Although not yet confirmed, the GPU in the S23 phones is said to be capable of 719 MHz as opposed to the 680 MHz GPU of the other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
