The Crown: Netfix puts fictional warning in season 5 trailer

Netflix caved in to the pressure and added a fictional disclaimer in the Season 5 description of The Crown – same notice that will be included in new episodes. The decision came after a barrage of criticism of the streaming platform. It is worth remembering that, in 2020, the service refused to add the warning.
So now, the official description of the season is:
“Inspired by real events, this fictional drama series tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II and the events that shaped her reign.”
The new episodes arrive in the platform’s catalog on November 9 and portray the events that happened in the 1990s, mainly the relationship between Carlos and Diana.
