The darkest superhero story in fiction will mark its return this year. The third season of TheBoys will begin its broadcast on June 3 of this year, after the success it had with its two previous installments in the original catalog of Prime Video. The platform revealed today the long-awaited official trailer for the new episodes and there will be more action than ever in the fictional universe based on the comic of the same name written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by David Robertson.
The preview opens with Billy Butcher facing his own power, followed by Homelander’s crisis and Starlight’s frustration. Lots of blood and action scenes are included in this great first look at the beat of Imagine Dragons’ “Bones”. Most striking is what appears to be a boy band of superheroes and a possible confrontation between the patriotic leader of the Seven and A-Train.
The conglomerate of Vought going through one of its worst crises, after Homelander (Anthony Starr) will fail in his plans to gain custody of his son, Ryan, along with stormfront (Aya Cash), to turn him into a future version of himself. As you remember, the little boy’s mother was Becca (Shantel VanSanten), the wife of billy butcher (Karl Urban) who died in the last installment. The latter takes the boy to Grace Mallory (Laila Robins), the former director of the CIA, to leave him in her care and ensure that he is safe.
star light (Erin Moriarty) is also one of those who opposed the actions of Vought and the Seven, as was Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), after the two of them and Fumiko (Karen Fukuhara) faced off against Stormfront, whose true identity is that of Klara Risinger. In reality, she is a former Nazi Party sympathizer and wife of Frederick Voughtin addition to being the first injection test subject of the Compound V. The heroine has a long history of racist acts dating back decades, but she posed as some kind of influencer currently to enter as the “new girl” of the group after the death of Translucent.

According to the description in the service streaming, the story “is an irreverent look at the idea of what would happen if superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, more influential than politicians and revered as gods, abused their powers instead of dedicating themselves to doing good. On TheBoyswe will see the normals fight against the superpowered to expose the truth about The Seven and the formidable Vought.
Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Anthony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Aya Cash, Laila Robins, Claudia Doumit, Giancarlo Esposito and more stars will return to their roles for new episodes of TheBoys. For the role of Soldier Boy, another character from the comics, the production recruited the actor Jensen Ackles (Supernatural).
Season three of the series will start its launch in Prime Video next June 3.
