Last Thursday (16), Apple TV+ released the first trailer of tetris, movie that will show the real story behind the creation of the game. In the preview, we see the businessman played by Taron Egerton risking his life during the Cold War to popularize the game. Check out:

“Tetris tells the unbelievable story of how one of the world’s most popular video games found its way to avid gamers around the world,” notes the official synopsis. “Henk Rogers discovers Tetris in 1988 and risks everything by traveling to the Soviet Union, where he joins forces with inventor Alexey Pajitnov to bring the game to the masses.”

In addition to Egerton, the cast of tetris features Toby Jones (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets), Roger Allam (Tamara’s Return), Nikita Yefremov (A Good Man), Anthony Boyle (Punishment for Innocence) and Ben Miles (The Crown).
The film is directed by Jon S. Baird (Filth) and the screenplay is by Noah Pink (This is Your Death).
tetris hits the Apple TV+ catalog on March 31.
