In season 3 of Ted Lasso, therefore, we will see AFC Richmond fighting for its space in the biggest football league in the world, the Premier League. It’s also important to remember that Nate (Nick Mohammed) left the team, betrayed Ted’s trust and is now working for Rupert (Anthony Head), which is likely to piss off Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) quite a bit.

Last season

As already announced, the third year of the Apple series should be the last of the narrative, which, for now, should not win a 4th season. As Sudeikis revealed in some interviews, the plans regarding Ted Lasso were always to wrap the show up at three seasons, telling the story they wanted to tell the way they wanted to tell it. Could this change in the near future?

Ted Lasso is one of the most successful series in Apple TV+ history. Mixing comedy and drama, the work, created by Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly and Bill Lawrence, won the 2022 and 2021 Emmys in the category of Best Comedy Series, proving that it is not kidding and that it has plenty of quality.
