Teclast launched another tablet, the updated version of the M40 Pro. In the name, the new plate is distinguished from its predecessor by the year, Teclast M40 Pro 2023 this year’s version, which looks no different from the previous one. The front panel is still occupied by the 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a 16:10 ratio and 1920 x 1200 pixels, with a 5 MP camera hidden in the frame. A 5 MP unit also works on the back.

The 3.5 mm connector remains in the frame, USB Type-C can be used for charging (the battery is 7000 mAh) and data transfer (OTG is also provided), and there is also room for a microSD card, which can be used to expand the 128 GB built-in storage. Unlike its predecessor, the M40 Pro 2023 already uses UFS 2.1 flash storage, and with this and the LPDDR4 RAM increased to 8 GB, the device can be faster. The SoC has also been updated, the 12 nanometer Unisoc Tiger T616 works in the new tablet (CPU with two 2 GHz Cortex-A75 and six 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 processor cores and Mali G57MP1 GPU), which we had the opportunity to meet in the Realme C35. Based on the performance of the system chip, one should not expect a huge leap compared to its predecessor, which uses the Unisoc Tiger T618. The main version of the system is also new, the 2023 version of the M40 Pro already comes with Android 12, but there is no promise as to whether it will receive an update in the future.
