Superman: Henry Cavill Promises Exciting Film Returning to DC

O Super man is back! In an interview with ScreenRant, actor Henry Cavill, also known for The Witcher, talked a little more about what it was like putting on the Man of Steel costume once again. After all, he appears in the post-credits scenes of black adam and will have new projects in the expanded universe of DC.

“I have a very strong connection to this character. There’s something extraordinarily special about the way he’s able to give and receive love – and I don’t mean it in a romantic way. I talk about his love for the Earth and the people who live on our planet, how he makes people feel powerful and like Superman, indeed.”

While the character’s future in the DCEU is still unclear, Cavill already has plans for his character. “My biggest goal is to make the audience leave the theater feeling that they can fly, that they can protect the ones they love and that they can take care of each other. That is my biggest goal,” he continued.

“Hey guys. I wanted to wait until the weekend was over before posting this, because I wanted to give you all a chance to watch the black adam. But now that many of you have watched it, I’d like to make it official: I’m back as Superman. The image seen in this post is what you saw in black adam, it’s just a small taste of things to come. So I have a lot to be thankful for. Thank you for your support and thank you for your patience. I promise you will be rewarded,” he said in the video.
