Looking forward to the season 5 premiere of Stranger Things? Well, it’s not just you. Season 4 of the Netflix series reached streaming in May 2022 and ended in July of the same year (with the premiere of the second part), being considered one of the most exciting and thought-provoking narratives created by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer. However, the 5th season promises not to be left behind. There’s just one problem: new episodes can take a long time to arrive.

According to actor Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, the fifth and final year of the Netflix series may not debut until 2025. He revealed the information during an interview with QAin which he answered questions about the work and his career, which took off after the production of the streaming giant.

“I can’t believe it’s season 5 already, I’ll be 22 when it comes out I think and I started working on the show when I was 12. That’s insane. I get to drink with Gaten [Matarazzo]caleb [McLaughlin] and Noah [Schnapp] and with the entire cast at the premiere of Stranger Things 5. I couldn’t say that at the season 1 premiere, which blows my mind,” said the young man.
Wolfhard will be 22 years old in 2025. That is, the actor hinted that the premiere window for Season 5 of Stranger Things it will be, in fact, 2 years from now. In that sense, on the one hand, it’s good to have a release date for the last few episodes, however, this means that fans will have to be very patient and wait for a long time.
