Season 5 of Stranger Things will unfortunately be the last of the Netflix series. Fans, however, can wait for a last part filled with emotions, action and epic moments, as one of the producers of the work, Shawn Levy, has already revealed in a recent interview with the Collider website. That is, viewers will have a lot to enjoy during the second half of 2023, which is when the fifth year should be released.

And who will also get a lot out of Season 5 of Stranger Things, but for another reason, they are the actors and actresses of the production themselves. That’s because, after a few rounds of negotiations with the streaming giant, the cast received a significant increase in their salaries, according to a report from the Puck website.

According to the publication, Stranger Things season 5 cast reportedly split into four different value groups:
- Group 1 ($9.5 million): This would include Winona Ryder and David Harbour, the show’s adult stars.
- Group 2 (about US$ 7 million): here, the four boys (Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp and Finn Wolfhard) enter, in addition to actress Sadie Sink, who gained more importance last season.
- Group 3 (about $6 million): The rest of the main names, including Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke and Charlie Heaton.
- Group 4: All the rest of the cast, including Millie Bobby Brown, who is paid differently since she signed a separate (and very lucrative) deal with Netflix.

The numbers ensure the appearances of ST actors and actresses during all eight episodes of season 5. And while they seem astronomical, they still don’t make up the biggest paychecks in television history. In Two And a Half Men, for example, Charlie Sheen, the protagonist of the series, received US$ 1.8 million per episode, while the main cast of The Big Bang Theory raised US$ 900 thousand per chapter during the last season.
The 5th season of Stranger Things will show the outcome of the battle between the villainous Vecna and Eleven, which will influence not only the young woman’s friends, as well as the city of Hawkins and the whole world.
