Spotify is moving into Strava

Strava and Spotify have announced their collaboration, from now on users can access their music, podcasts and audiobooks from the fitness application. Playlists can be added to Strava, the user can access them with a Spotify icon, in which case a playback window will pop up in place of the current training data, as shown in the image below. This is somewhat simpler to implement and seems to be a more convenient solution during training than switching between applications.

Users of both Spotify and Strava’s free and premium packages can access these options, the two programs need to be connected once, but even if you have a premium account with Spotify, offline music playback is not supported by the Strava integration. The function will be available for both Android and iOS users with new updates to the application, and from April 20, those interested will also be able to find playlists dedicated to Strava in the training categories on Spotify.
