Now is the time to color the Playstation 5 (PS5). Sony finally confirmed that the next-generation console will receive colored PS5 covers, as well as designs with new colors of the DualSense controller. The new presentations thus meet the demands of the Sony community after the launch of the console in 2020.

– PlayStation Europe (@PlayStationEU) December 13, 2021 Sony has revealed a total of four new colored PS5 covers: Midnight black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Galactic purple Y Starlight blue. The black and red faceplates match the previously released DualSense colors, and the new pink, purple, and blue will get DualSense versions as well.
According to Sony’s blog, console covers will be available from January 2022, while console covers PS5 Nova Pink, Galactic Purple and Starlight Blue are expected in the first half of 2022. The covers are priced at $ 54.99 each.
