Some Russian apps are allowed to return to the App Store

Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and the subsequent sanctions against Russia, a large number of Russian apps were recently removed from the Apple Store.

Now, however, it is clear that two of the most popular apps, namely Vkontakte and Mail.ru, have been allowed to return to the Apple Store.

According to unconfirmed information, the reason is that many people who are critical of the Russian regime use the apps in question.

Therefore, it is not a good idea to prevent their use, even if they are owned by Gazprombank and Sberbank, both of which are subject to sanctions.
